Glowing with happiness, Amy and Cameron were married at her family’s gorgeous Toowoomba property. We chose to keep Amy’s gown light and unstructured, a perfect choice for her delicate frame. With an ivory silk satin slip as the foundation, many hours of hand sewing saw this beautiful beaded and embroidered tulle come to life. Images courtesy of Edwina Robertson.
Kelli and her handsome husband Aaron were married at Deux Belettes in the Byron Bay Hinterland. We chose a lovely beaded and embroidered tulle for the bodice of her gown and cut a full circular skirt from layers of silk chiffon and silk faille.
Under a beautiful blue sky and surrounded by incredible bursts of colour, gorgeous Helen married Alex at Sunshine Beach. Helen had gathered together a wonderfully eclectic collection of images for our first meeting. From there we defined the brief; to create a gown with a sense of lightness and translucence which I think perfectly suited the ethereal and creative qualities I saw in her.
A structured strapless bodice and floor length skirt were created from ivory silk faille. Silk georgette was then draped and pinned to the bodice structure to create the delicate translucent line across the décolletage. Silk georgette was gathered softly at the waist, falling to the floor and flowing into a short train. Images courtesy of Tim Harris Photography.
